The Lumsing PBJ-6200 is a 6000mAh USB power bank and is the smallest one I own. Obviously more capacity is better but extra capacity means extra size and weight. So how does this model compare to my other batteries?
I’m a great fan of USB power banks as they give me the ability to keep my portable devices running when I’m out and about. This includes cameras, camcorders, smartphones and tablets. With a source of power you can use your devices as much as you like without getting stressed about that dreaded battery warning.
They don’t take up much more room than a phone charger and generally give you at least two full charges depending on capacity.

The first thing you notice with this device is that it is nice and compact. Is it a similar size and shape to a large smartphone which makes it easy to carry in a pocket or bag. The higher capacity banks are great but can be a bit too bulky for carrying in a pocket.
The case is brushed metal and as a result has a quality feel to it. This means it doesn’t look out of place next to your expensive smartphone or tablet.
Most smartphones have batteries in the 2500mAh range so this device will give you two full charges. With two USB ports you can charge two devices as the same time so that’s great if you’ve got a phone and a tablet or are happy to share with a friend in need!
What do I like about it? It looks nice, feels nice and is well priced.
What do I not like about? Nothing serious but I’m still not convinced about the orange styling on my black model. Perhaps I’m too old-fashioned 🙂
